Spiegelberg Implement Inc was founded in 1945 by Carl Spiegelberg. Carl bought and resold used equipment and sold some short line on new equipment too. In 1982 his son Scott started taking over parts of the business, adding Patz, Badger, Kuhn / Knight, Bobcat, and a few other lines. In the late 1980’s, we started into Agricultural Concrete Construction and in the early 1990’s the dairy freestall / parlor expansion really started taking off for us and expanded our customer area base.
In 2011 we started fabricating our own cattle gating. 2013 we built another new fabrication building giving us more room to make other Agricultural products and do welding repairs for people. The fabrication continued to grow that we doubled our work area size again in 2017.
Our concrete business continues to expand also. To be more labor efficient and productive, we bought our first ride on Somero S-485 Laser Screed in 2014, another Somero S-15R 20ft boom screed in 2015, Somero S-22 3D boom screed in 2016, and Somero S-940 in 2019. Along with using the Somero screeds for our own work, we started doing Custom Screeding for other contractors helping them with their needs and expanding the diversification of our business.
The 3rd generation sons, Adam and Jordan are taking charge in the business to help us better reach out and serve our many customers’ needs and continue our growth. 2019 we changed our name to Spiegelberg Inc, Concrete - Implement – Fabrication. This is to help our customers better understand our diversification in these 3 areas not just implement as Carl Spiegelberg started in 1945.
